The Girls

Jen Abra’s grandma bought her a sewing machine for her 18^th birthday and she started to teach herself to sew. She began making bags and purses for Christmas gifts and from there Babe-ra was born. She enjoys turning thrift store finds into one–of-a-kind bags, or patching together small pieces of fabric to make a bag. All her creations are drawn right on the fabric with no patterns so every bag is unique. Jen ♥‘s handmade!

Cajsa Fredin grew up knowing she was an artist. But she didn’t know which kind. It was in University that her work evolved to sculpture and specifically metals. Always interested in Interior Design her ideas revolved around furniture and now she’s got chairs and the like on the brain! Often, her ideas materialize from found objects and using her metals work, she tries to integreate the old and the new into something completely wonderful!

Featured in many galleries all across Canada, Natalie Ruby first started working with glass in 2001 when Pat and Ryan Bavin hired her on as their glass blowing apprentice at Bavin Glassworks. Just a year later Natalie’s talents expanded to include flamework, the process used to make the whimsical glass beads that Ruby Designs is now so well known for. Each bead is created with its own individual flair, making Natalie’s one of a kind jewellery unique wearable art. www.rubydesigns.ca
